About Brayden

I'm Brayden — a Systems Design Engineering student at the University of Waterloo — and I thrive where tech meets design. I’ve got a burning passion for making cool things, especially in the realm of software, design, and transportation. I’m currently on the hunt for Winter 2025 co-ops/internships.

Outside of my coursework, I am a lead host and designer with the awesome team at Socratica — a grassroots team rekindling the builder mindset through hosting weekly co-working sessions, rooftop dinners, and end-of-term symposiums.

Recently, I joined Figma as part of the inaugural cohort of Campus Leaders, growing adoption in Waterloo and working directly with product development.

I've worked previously as an Innovation Consultant @ NorthGuide, and as a software developer/designer @ Government of Ontario. I’m looking to work with organizations looking to make things that work well, and look great.

In my spare time, there’s a 90% chance you’ll find me on a bicycle — either as my preferred choice of commute, or for sport.
